Grizzly Technical Solutions Defence Transition Program is our way of helping Australian Defence Force Veterans who have been affected by PTSD.
PTSD is contracted when the human brain is subjected to some sort of adverse experience, tragic event or fear that it wasn’t built to withstand. Many humans can be subjected to events which can cause this condition. In fact, nearly all of us can experience some sort of event which will challenge our senses. This can have just a short term affect or it can be long lasting, depending on the person and the event.
The Defence Transition Program helps Australian Defence Force Veterans by providing refurbished computers free of charge so they can access DVA services, Apply for jobs, and most importantly, keep in contact with friends and family.
The computers may not be the latest technology, but we make sure they are in great condition and are refurbished to last. We have sent out several refurbished laptops, with the first wave going to Stand Tall 4 PTS. We are currently working with several charity partners to ensure Veterans in need get our computers.
The Defence Transition Program is completely self funded. We do not make any money off the Program in any way, shape, or form. All shipping and repair costs are covered by Grizzly Technical Solutions.
Since the Program is self funded, we rely on people donating hardware to be able to offer computers to Veterans. If you have an old, outdated, or even broken laptop or desktop that you no longer use, why not donate it to our program and help make a difference? We will pick up the hardware from you when it’s convenient to you.
You can organise a pickup of your old system by using the contact form to the right.
